Can Tennessee slow down the Oregon offense? Putting 72 points up on New Mexico was certainly unexpected for the Ducks. But they also made a statement -- they are much more than just Jeremiah Masoli, who is no longer on the team. What does Oregon do for an encore?

Tennessee +12 for me. I would not be totally shocked if they won outright but +12 -105 is equivalent to about +430, so ATS is better here unless you can find around +460

How are yall predicting an outright Tenn win? Isnt Oregon supposed to be fairly good? UT in its first year under Dooley and with the departures and guys getting kicked off the team......I wouldnt imagine they can even keep it close. I may be wrong. I was gonna actually go heavy on Oregon but now this is maybe turning into a no play for me

Both teams come in off shutout wins, which doesnt happen often. Since 1984, the home team is 9-3 in these games, and 4-0 ATS when getting 8 or more points

Oregon 0-4 ATS on the road in between home games, 2-6 ATS vs SEC

Since 1997, road favs off a win of 60+ points are 5-13 ATS but only 1-11 ATS when laying 9+ points

Oregon is very talented but the line for this game seems to ignore the obvious; its a night game at Rocky Top for a team that has to travel across country and play in front of 90,000 nutcases in Orange, UT covers no problem and has a legit change to win outright

Neyland is a beast to play in. Make no mistake, UT is on the same talent level as Oregon and maybe better on both lines. The main concern is whether this team can come together and unite with an "us against the world mentality" or will the distractions be too much. I'm on UT and the points.

UT has a young team, most of them had never taken a snap at Neyland until last week, but that was against their little sister school who barely has a fukin football team.

For them to have a chance for the upset they will have to be playing on pure emotion & feeding from the fans energy who will make it rough on Oregon. I'm sure Dooley has these kids understanding what is expected of them & I hope they play over their heads & above their talent level

This is a joke. Nobody has given any good reasons why Tennessee would come close to winning this match besides the fact it's a home game. Are you kidding me? On paper, if you've actually done the research, this should be a huge blowout by Oregon again. They return almost everyone from last year. A team that went to the Rose Bowl. Tennessee returns nobody and has a new coach and system from a team that was mediocre at best last year. Tennessee beat a team by 50 points last week and got a shutout verses somebody that they were supposed to do that to (Tennessee st Martin?... Is that a high school?). That should not be any indication of how they would play against anybody tough the following week.

Who ever started this post was looking for some funny banter and not serious betting advice.
