    Army/Hawaii line movement
Army rode its ground attack to a 31-27 win over Eastern Michigan last week. The Black Knights racked up a ridiculous 309 rushing yards in their season-opening victory.

Hawaii also impressed in their season debut, scoring 36 points against heavily-favored USC. Although they ultimately lost by 13 points, the Warriorstopped the Trojans in total yards, while gaining a staggering 459 yard through the air.

Army opened as a 1.5-point home favorite at Pinnacle and is currently receiving only 23% of spread bets and 13% of moneyline wagers. Hawaii played well in a high profile game against USC last week, so it's not surprising to see the public all over the Warriors. Despite being a massive public underdog, Army has actually increased to a 3-point favorite at Pinnacle. This is a classic case of reverse-line movement, indicating sharp money is coming down on Army. Sports Insights' Betting Systems concur, triggering three positive Smart Money Plays and a Steam Move at Olympic (+3.2 units) on the Black Knights.

At the time of publication, most sportsbooks are offering this game at -3, but one has moved the line off the key number down to -2.5. Do some shopping and grab Army at the best possible number.

Also Hawaii has to travel to NY and play at 9:00 am EST.There body clocks will be way off...take the Black Knights!

Army is the play IMO, NOT looking at anything other than line movement and the situation

ok they have been in new york 3 days already as part of a 13 day road trip for Hawaii....they have adjusted to the time zone

Army cant defend the pass and Hawaiis qb is mobile with a great arm and will cause problems for a bad army defense

You have been warned that army wont win this game....Hawaii scheduled this game for a reason...they beat navy last year so they are used to that style of play

Army giving up 27 points to Eastern Michigan says it all

Army also has a horrible record covering their point spread when they are favored

I believe everybody is overreacting to Hawaii's performance last week. This is a huge let down spot against a team coming off a bad performance

West Point braces for Hawaii’s air attack

Hawaii plays Army at Michie Stadium on Saturday, and the Warriors are hoping jet lag doesn’t catch up to them once the game starts.
Hawaii landed in New Jersey on Wednesday after traveling a school-record 4,955 miles on the first leg of a 13-day trip. After Saturday’s game, the Warriors fly to Las Vegas for a week’s stay before playing at Colorado.
Head coach Greg McMackin says his Warriors are ready to go. Hawaii is coming off a 49-36 loss to 16th-ranked Southern Cal in its season-opener at home nine days ago.
Army and Hawaii have played only once before, in 2003, and it was a forgettable experience for the Black Knights. Timmy Chang threw for 356 yards and two touchdowns as Hawaii accumulated a school-record 741 yards on offense and won 59-28.

it means something early IMO, with the emotion but once that is over it comes down to talent so Hawaii wins

I will agree that Hawaii is the better team but I think Army plays an inspired game with it being at home and on 9/11.

Game could easily go either way.

Hawaii has atrocious running d and a great passing game.

Army has horrible passing coverage and enough skill to run the triple option with great success vs Hawaii.

You realize this is Army right? Playing on 9/11 is an enormous morale/motivation boost.

Exactly the same thing as not betting against a team who is retiring a players jersey.

why is it a bad reason? ..a team plays harder when there's some kind of incentive.....who thought marshall was going to cover tonight? not many, but with it being their 40yr anniversary and all that and WV being the in-state rival...if it wasn't for a historic meltdown, they not only cover, but they win SU... and everyone thought marshall was a joke after their showing last week vs Ohio st.... just sayin...
