    D.P.'s NCAAFB Week 2
    YTD 8-6 (0U) 3 Unit system

Will post picks for Saturday's game on Friday
Surprised I found value in all four games. Slimmed the write-ups down.
GL to whatever you choose. Let's get started:

Auburn -1.5 vs Miss St 1U
    • Auburn allowed a lot of points to a decent Arkansas State team but they also put up 56 on a decent Arkansas state team.
    • Miss St. put up 49 on Memphis but Memphis is a worse team than Arkansas state.
    • Auburn has one of the best O-lines in CFB, a qb that can beat you with his feet and arm, a freshman running back Dyer that is playing well, and a good receiving corp including junior Darvin Adams a 1st Team All-SEC selection in 2009 and Senior Terrell Zachary.
    • Predict game will be similar to SMU(Miss St is much better) USC game. The Bulldogs will be pumped out the gate but the talent of Auburn will come through.
    • Prediction Miss St. 28 Auburn 38

WVU vs Marshall Under 47 1U
    • WVU was one of 9 teams who pitched shut-outs last week.
    • WVU has an above average offense
    • Marshall's offense didn't score on offense against Ohio St.
    • Not a good sign for Marshall to be completely shut out by Ohio St. even though they have top talent
    • WVU scored 30 points or more once last year behind playmaker Noel Devine who is the focal point again this year.
    • WVU will focus on running the ball against Marshall seeing that they gave up 280 yards to Ohio State on the ground
    • WVU will most likely have a longer time of possession and with them running the ball more I see a low scoring game that will end fast .
    • Prediction WVU 24 Marshall 10

    Temple-7 vs Central Michigan (1U)
    • Temple has one of the best running game in the MAC.
    • They have a strong line that brings back two 1st team All-MAC selections in seniors Colin Madison and Darius Morris and has four starters back.
    • Temple has two of the best D-lineman in the MAC and Adrian Robinson may be one of the best in the country
    • Temple linebacker and secondary are very solid behind All-MAC players safety Jaiquawn Jarret and cornerback Marquise Liverpool
    • Central Michigan will go on the road with an unexperienced QB, new head coach and will face a dominant pass rush.
    • Temple took a half to wake-up but when they did, they held Villanova to a single score and scored 21 points in the second half.
    • Central Michigan has lost to much talent with their QB and his two favorite receivers and have to depend on two average running backs who didn't total 700 yards together.
    • Prediction Temple 31 Central Michigan 17

    UTEP +20 vs Houston (0.5U)
    • Houston hasn't beat UTEP by this mark the last five years.
    • UTEP returns Donald Buckram who torched Houston last year for 270 yards and 4 tds.
    • UTEP isn't good on defense but their secondary is lead by senoir safety Braxton Amy
    • These games have been shootouts the last three years and I don't see any team leading by three touchdowns when finished.
    • Prediction Houston 45 UTEP 31

BOL with your picks on Thur. I agree with your Auburn pick and if i had to make a play probably wld go the same way. However, not a fan of betting on a home dog in the SEC on a Thur. night especially in Starkville, very difficult place to play. Anyhow, look forward to working together for Sat. Thanks Again Big Dave

Mr. D, hope you have a profitable weekend sir.

I have to differ with your Temple pick. I have Central Michigan winning this game straight up. I am aware that Temple has 15 starters back. I am also aware that CM lost QB Dan LeFevour and many other starters from last season. Eight points is just too much even if I weren't taking an upset by CM.

Just my studied opinion.....again, hope you do well this weekend.

To each's own my friend. I don't see unexperienced QB going on the road and pulling an upset against an above average Temple team. CMU didn't just lose players, they lost key players especially in the offense.

BOL dap. FYI, the WVU/Marshall under checked in for a winner. You got it marked as a loser. You should be 10-6

Wouldn't touch that Mich/ND game with a 10-ft pole. Florida St. should keep it within one score, I'd buy the hook if available obv.

I'm on the other side of your 'Cuse bet. What makes you think they can travel to Seattle and hang in that environment? Lot of noise for an unproven QB.

                      BOL to you
