I'm a Longhorn too but I'm thinking the opposite here.

First, OU hasn't lost at home in 5 years. Second, OU was probably holding a lot of plays back against Utah St. Third, I just got that gut feeling that this is one of those games that looks easy but Vegas is gonna make big money.

Line at 5dimes is at 7.5, if it goes under 7 I'm gonna hit it.

this is a classic trap game early in the season. yes we all saw fsu pound samford and ou struggle at home vs usu. i hate ou as much and anyone but at home they are tough and ou will def be ready to play when the noles get there. if the line drops to like 7 or lower im thinking ou.

This is one of the few games that really seemed to jump put at me too. Also looking to go big on E. Carolina.

I was at the OU game-hince ou fan-and man landry looked like shit, but murray did rush for 208 yards. Regardless of who it was against it's still 208 yards. I would be wary of this game as I see stoops drilling the crap out of landry after that middle school like performance.

Just an opinion.

Forget last week's game...it means nothing. Both teams need this win after a difficult season last year. Florida State has improved but not enough to beat Oklahoma at home.

I wouldn't touch this game ATS with a ten foot pole....look forward to watching it though.

I agree, and especially with 76% of the bets on Florida State right now. It seems like the books are making it too easy for us to take Florida State... looks like a no-play for me.

It's nice to see a longhorn fan using logic instead of throwing money away because of his hatred for OU.
If you think that Bob didn't sandbag just a little after going up 21-0 to Utah St.....you're not paying attention. Bob isn't going to give little brother (Mark Stoops) anything extra to work with coming into Norman. But if Horns, wants to throw away his money on an unproven road dog with a new coach and a defensive coach that's the little brother to Bob Stoops...let him. As always goodluck.

That line continues to dance around. I know one thing though. Bowden wanted one more year and do you want to know why? Because he felt he finally had all the tools in place to make a BCS run. This FSU team is talented behind Ponder and to think that OKIE will beat these guys by two scores is asking alot.

I cant stand OU, but come on guys. OU gave up majority of yardage on 4 big plays to Utah St. Dont even look at that game to handicap this one. Stoops will have the team prepared, and the defense will be much better.
And no way is the FSU D gonna stop that OU offense, too much firepower. I think this stays close and OU winds up winning by 10-14 pts.

Thanks so Fla! I love OU but was going to bet heavy on FSU at 9 1/2. I read your post about it being a classic trap game and took a step back. Then I looked at it and the plays OU ran. No passes to backs, nothing deep. No blitzes, guys didn't play. OU up at half 21-0. Then OU has a bunch of freshman or first year players. 12 plays gave USU all of their yards. OU plays poorly historically at the beginning of year and then gets better.

They play a great non-conference schedule this year.

So Fla thanks for stopping me from being a pigeon.

it was. I was at that game and was laughing at all the money vegas won off people who thought fla st would win keep this within one possession. I didn't think it would be a 30 point blowout (should have been 37)
