long game here - Boise State spent the last 6 months preparing for this game and this game only. Va Tech had a real schedule to prep for. In the end the better team will win this game. This is the biggest game in the history of BSU - for Va Tech - this doesn't even rank in the top 50......

This is the same argument everyone always has. Why would Florida not transfer to the MWC, run the table every year and guarantee themselves a NC game - then they have to basically win two games and play cupcakes the other 10 and have a title shot.

I understand the argument for Boise St - they haven't loss in how many years - don't they deserve a shot? But if they played in a real conference would they get there?

Its an impossible question to answer - which is why it sucks that everyone is saying that a win today puts them in the title game - they play 2 real games this year - name me ANY other team that can get in with that schedule?

Couldn't agree more - imagine what happens if BSU gets in the game and an undefeated or 1-loss team from the Big-10/ACC/SEC/Pac-10/Big-12 doesn't get in.

I understand college football and I understand that BSU could not win 3 consecutive games in the Big12, SEC nor B10... If you think differently then your crazy.

I don't get hyped over a team that can gear up for 1 game all year and expect to play for a title. A win over VT won't mean shit to me as they always wet the bed in big games.
