YTD 6-5(0U)
Boise St. Virginia Tech Under 52 (2U)
Boise St. first time meeting an above average defense and great defensive coach only scored 17 last year(TCU). This is basically the same offense this year.Virginia Tech played two good defenses last year in E.Carolina and N. Carolina and were held to 16 and 17 points respectively. Boise St's defense is often overlooked and is very competitive. This will be a game when points will be a precious commodity. If you like stats then this may make you sleep easier. Basically it says games that were similar to this game in the past had the following results. Boise 21 VT 17

Maryland +7 vs Navy (1U)
Maryland vs Navy Under 49 (1U)
Navy's strength and only strength on offense is the run and that just so happens to be Maryland's strongest suit on defense.Maryland's secondary is suspect but Navy does not have the tools to take advantage of that. Navy recorded the fastest game in history because they run the ball so much. The clock will run faster than Usain Bolt in this one and that means less points. Everyone is sleeping on Maryland this year but they forget that Maryland has a good tandem of runningbacks in Davin Megettee and Darel Scott. They have a good group of receivers with Junior Torrey Smith (61 catches, 824 yards, 5 TDs) who was a 1st Team All-ACC selection last year and fellow wideouts Adrian Cannon (44 catches, 468 yards, 4 TDs) and Ronnie Tyler (28 catches, 346 yards, 1 TD) should provide great depth. They return three on the offensive line and although they will be rebuilding, there is experience there. Maryland with keep this close and my pull the upset. Maryland 14 Navy 17
I'm not picking sides on the B.S. V.T. game but if I was it would be Boise. GL in whatever you decide.
