VT Boise ST (TT, O/U) What do you think??
Hey guys Im not privy to picking a winner here and frankly dont care, However 1 thing I notice is both teams have the majority of their offensive starters returning... Result: a possible high scoring game, fast offensive posessions, quick turnarounds, the ability to push each other and spark a shootout etc...

Both team totals are at 24.5

With that said as you look at the avg score and the # of games over that amount last season for VT, VT TT looks to be an enticing pick...

Now dont get me wrong Boise st is a fine team, and may win, but the level of competition was lacking except TCU (Close game bc it was a bowlgame).

VT scored high points in the majority of their games against quality ACC opponents and others outside the conference... (Last game Bowl Game - Tennessee) I believe.

Now Boise St games last Year had weaker opponents from a weaker conference score on avg much higher points against BST. than the ACC opponents.

Could be a close game, no doubt, but offense is where its at for these teams, both teams (in order for a top bowl game appearance) they must win this...

Im expecting both teams to pull out every bag of tricks they have both been accustomed too, & have been working on hard all summer long...

Let me know what you think??

Va tech is missing alot on the defense of side of the ball. They have two really good dbs. Kellen is to accurate to mess this up. If va tech was playing at home no question. Boise is solid all around. I see a scenario played out like pit and utah. Boise always seems to step up when they need to...

          Virginia Tech. Hands Down.

Edit: jk. You make a convincing argument for the over. I might put a wager on that now. Let's do it!

I dont believe this is gonna be a shootout, i like the under in this game i doubt vt will get embarassed, the main question is can the defense of vt play at a high level, but being in the vt back yard technically, i dont see boise will jump out scoring alot of points, beamer will use tyrods athletic ability and veteran leadership along with their running back core to the fullest and even though tyrods not the greatest passer he can put down the field when he needs to. I feel this is gonna be a close game up to the 4th quarter, vt D will be motivated because its boise, and you cant get hung up on upperclassmen because this is college and not nfl where you have to pretty much be sharp every weekend thats y nfl is hard to cap cause it's hard being a former defensive back going against sharp route runners week to week, I think vt d will be motivated, but boise overall experience may be the only reason they end up on top. i thinking low scoring game with alot of hitting.
