answers to your question, can't believe I'm entertaining it but ... only time will tell if Boise St. can handle a schedule like FSU but I'm pretty sure they can.

Let me clarify, when I said "good teams" I meant *ranked* teams. In addition, I am only using FSU and Miami as examples of teams who have difficult schedules since you originally claimed that BSU "Play more competitive schedule than most of the big boys!" Remember your ridiculous comment? I used Miami (FL) as an example because not only do they play Va Tech like BSU, but they play 5 additional *ranked* teams. BSU plays TWO ranked teams and the rest of the teams they play are a joke.

Boise would struggle in the SEC, ACC, Big 10, and the Big 12 do to depth on the OL and DL. Their depth would catch up with them playing conference teams week in and week out. Their starters would have them in every game but depth would be a major factor.

FYI, the "Bowden era" was the past 34 years, so yeah, you're correct, I went to FSU sometime during the "Bowden era."

Since we lost Richt to UGA we have suffered tremendously the past nine years, but this year we will finally break the top 10 - watch it happen.

Must win for Boise, or they have zero chance at the BCS game. So I like them here! Virgina Tech is good, but lost a few keys players that lead that vaulted defense in 2009.

If tech loses this game, they're still fine to get in the BCS, so I'm going with the must win team here. I'll take my chances any day on a good Boise team going all out.

If the data can be believed, it appears that more people are wagering on Boise (not necessarily more dollars) than on VT. So why is the line moving from a Boise favorite to a VT favorite?

It's RLM (reverse line movment), which can be overblown, but it can also hint that "sharps" are hitting the side opposite the public so hard that they are moving the line in the opposite direction from where it would have moved with the public money.

IMO Boise St has proved themselves again and again, for all of the people that say that they play in a shitty conf, STUF! They play more competitive schedule than most of the big boys!

I am on Boise too. But I think it sucks that their biggest game is the opener. There should not be games like this so early in the season. It's not fair to the teams, too much is riding on an opening game.

Give me a break on teams being scared to play them! They wouldn't last 2 seconds in the SEC! Take a look back a few years ago when Boise State played UGA, they got drummed by the Bulldogs. Let's get serious, playing teams like that week in and week out, they wouldn't even be in the top 25 EVER!

The "public" is all over Boise State in this game. It's the "sharps" who caused the RLM.

I feel confident VA Tech will handle their business. It will be a great game, nonetheless.
