lost all respect for holtz many years ago when i caught him telling a lie on tv as an analyst. i dont remember what it was or even what it was about, but i do remember it was a whopper and not a little white lie. it just happened to be about something that i knew first hand to be a lie and that he had to have know the truth. in other words it was a mistake and he didnt mispeak - it was intentional.

Some of his arguments are incredible polished, and I do think its impressive that he still gets up their and presents his case an analyst, BUT his homerism is downright embarrassing. Make me not want to watch him.
