Happy New Year, All-------especially to you, PLAYA-PLAYA (after those picks, yesterday, you probably could have used a shot (or 200))----like the man says, "OUCH!" But it happens to all of us--me, too, at least a few times a month.

Anyhow, welcome back, Ralphie..........you been in Guatamela or something?!?
I think I'll have to disagree with your pick (could be wrong)----but I am from Michigan (and aside from feeling immensely disrespected and snubbed from the Rose Bowl birth (remember, State BEAT, head-to-head Wisconsin), the program is really PUMPED for this game). I think they'll come to play. As I said, could be wrong.

Other Picks to consider:

Texas Tech (-8, or even 9) to cover against N'Western; without Persa, they're nobody.
Mississippi St. (-3 1/2) over Michigan: State's got a defense...Go Blue doesn't (revisit the UMASS score)
Oklahoma (-16) over UCONN: could be over at halftime---for the Huskies even to stay within a score could be one of the biggest upsets in Bowl History.

Tightest matchup COULD be (I didn't say "WOULD be") Penn St. vs. FLA; despite the "home game" implications for the Gators---JoPa usually knows how to keep it close, perhaps, win.

5dimes had 27.5 all day. They put up 14 in the first quarter I thought it was gravy. Oklahoma took care of me and I hammered oklahoma and the over 2nd half. Ive had the 2nd best 4 days I have ever had these last few days. Alot of fun this holiday for me.
