wash+14 2x have something to prove to them selfs plus the the double digit bowl team under dogs hit 77% or higher i forget but high . Locker cost himself a lot of money in the up coming draft and tonight on a national stage will look to make a statement game for the nfl and his draft stock! Plus all season they went back to the this video of getting destroyed by nebraska to get motivated before games ! i think this will be a high scoring game ,but this time washington shows they belong. motivation going into this game goes to wash and they have a nfl arm behind them! i'll take the motivation of money and pride !the lower the scoring is the better chance wash has to be in it at the end!53 o/u over looks good !gl

[COLOR=#000000 ! important] Here we go tonight with Stanford vs V tech possibly the best QB match up of all the bowls! Andrew Luck the possible next 1st overall pick in the nfl draft this coming april!The fact that he has been under the direction of Harbaugh the past there years have been invaluable for andrew ! Behind Andrew are two running backs in Stepfan Taylor and A.Wilkerson who get the job done.Look for David Shaw the offensive cor. for Stanford to establish the run and the play actiion pass early .By doing this they will get control of the clock and prevent v-tech from stacking the box with 8 or 9 players .The experienced offensive line has two good guards in lg Andy Phillips and rg d. Decastro who both can pull and find there targets in the 2nd level . Plus with fullback owen majecic leading the way is a great lead blocker and able to take out the d-ends for the counters stanford loves to run! stanford has only punted 29 times all season and has controlled the time of pos. big time this year somewhere in the 60's. If Bud Foster the Virginia Tech defensive coordinator goes with only 7 men to stop Stanford offense run they will be in trouble .He is going to have to go man to man on the outside in order to get to luck and stop the run. The Cardinal receiving corps will get the return of WR Chris Owusu a down field bunner .WRs Doug Baldwin and Ryan Whalen lack big-play explosiveness but are polished route runners who can win one -one battles.
On the other side of the ball Tyrod Taylor who has beaten teams with his arm 23 td's and 4int's [23 td's a team record]and his legs this season. Taylor is a great dual threat and the running back trio of Williams, Evans , Wilson who have good vision and are good at cutting it back are a great option.
The Wr's for V-tech lack down field speed but are good at finding soft spots in the defense. Trying to stop Taylor will be difficult and the rush of Stanford front defense line lacks athleticism and must contain Taylor escape capabilities .The line backers for stanford are former d-ends in Chase Thomas and Thomas Keiser giving the den. coordinator, vic fangio of stanford the ability to go from a 3-4 to a 4-3 !! These two guys need to set the edge and not go to far up the field and get beat by taylor or off tackle runs!These are the staple of v-tech offense run game running off tackle with the trio of rb's they have and taylor keeping sometimes too . The secondary of stanford has improved over the season and they have good height [6'foot 3] on one corner in dick sherman and the f.s. Mike Thomas has good range. The secondary must hold there positions against tyrod taylor and not try to get after tyrod and give up the big play down field !
Well i think tyrod is going to keep v-tech in this game tonight , but the time of position that stanford has against there opp. will prove the difference here! The ball won't get into tyrods hands enough tonight and stanford will control the clock with there offense run game and play action pass to keep them off balance! good luck tonight either way you go !the under 58 is a lean for me but it should go over! I was thinking the under 58 because of the clock control stanford will try establish early in the game.Plus the fact that v-tech struggles against the run and the have not many great wr's that are down field threats and should keep it between the tackles with the trio of rb's and taylor's run.
