To buy or not buy off a key number isn't the point, he listed +3 in this thread post #1 and later brings up +3' (+3.5). I said it previously, I wish him well but am done in here, when he changes his mind/amount/etc - all it does is create problems for any that would follow or attempt to follow him.

Wow talk about confusion in here From what I can see before game time the two plays were PITT +3 and MIN -1 on the fact that they were the strongest plays. So an 1-0-1 day. What people think when plays are posted and then changed is another story given the fact that people that follow blindly could have placed that UAB bet before it were canceled. Bottom line is when you place a bet with money, the bet becomes your own bet and are therefor your own responsibility.

Best tip I learned first day of NCAA is always buy the hook when spread is based on 3,7 and a combination of this. With that said I pushed on PITT Same with favs, Would rather play -3 then -3.5...

Just discovered this thread this morning. Wow! Don't know what to make of all this bickering. I got Mike's email but because I'm gone alot in the late afternoon/evening time frame I didn't get the Minn-1 and Pitt +3 picks in time to do the Minn game but I did play Pitt +3. I guess some books had +3.5 but since I didn't have much time I took the +3 at YouWager. I guess it is probably a good idea to buy the hook on spreads of 3 or 7. But a push is better than losing. Just wish I coulda got home in time to get in on the Minn game. Having read the whole thread it might have been confusing on the UAB game but if you read the whole thread He did clarify his final picks. If you get his emails you would have had his finalized his picks. Guess I need to upgrade my phone so I can get email on it. LOL.

Picks can change upon learning new information. That's why you should wait until 10-15 minutes before kick-off to place. And Mike did clarify which two picks he was taking. I think some people are angry because they jumped the gun and took UAB early. As for his record, 1-1-1 seems more than fair, no? It's a long season, so let's move on. Don't waste your time and blow things out of proportion.

This game is simply a miss-match any way you look at it.


The Tigers have 18 Starters returning, which is the most in the Big 12. 8 on offense, which include the QB Blaine Gabbert and 4 on the o line as well as 9 for their defense. Last year they played Illinois away and won 37-9 where the spread then was 7.

Illinois was 4-7 last year ATS now they are returning just 5 on offense, they lose their QB Juice Williams and WR Arrelious Benn. They have less than half their team back from last year.

Last year they also allowed 403 yards per game and 30 Points per game. I see the same result hear this year.
