This is not a FADE, it is my own pick.

I'm not doing write ups this year, b/c its a waste of time.

But the reason I picked this game is b/c I see two programs heading in different directions. Utah has been living off that win over Alabama for too long. This is not the same team, and not the same recruits. Once Utah got blown out by TCU last year let me know that Utah is no longer the program they were.

I could lose this game, or win this game. But I just feel the +3 is the play.

And for everyone that wants to go back 100 years for stats.. The last time Utah played a season home opener as -3 favs.. they lost to Arizona (3-17) in 2000. Since then Utah has not had a home opener that they were less than -7 favs.

Since 2000 Home opener opponents: Utah State x4/Air Force x1 Loss/ Northern Arizona x1/ Arizona x1 (3pt win)/ UNLV x1
--- During that Span ATS(3-4-1) No spread for Northern Arizona.

I just feel the Pitt running game is going to wear down the inexperienced Utah defense. I know Utah has a decent D-line but they are weak at the linebacker position which will show in the second half.

I love Pitt in this spot Houli, I have had this one cirlced along with Nebraska ever since the line came out. For those who want to keep talking about Utah's home record, go look at their opponents combined record from last year. Im not saying Pitt is the greatest team ever but they will be solid tonight and I look for them to control this game from the beginning.
