    Houston to the MWC?
Aparently that is the case, if you believe CBS's Dennis Dodd, and Case Keenum's twitter page. This is a very smart move by the MWC. It accomplishes several things. It gives them a 12th team and a Conference Championship game. It forces BYU to stay put if they want any dream at all ofparticipating in a BCS game or any decent bowl game. It just about guarantees the MWC an automatic BCS bowl bid.

CUSA would probably take La. Tech from the fatally wounded WAC to continue to give them 12 teams. La. Tech is a very good fit. With the conference down to 6 teams now, and Hawaii threatening to go independent, La. Tech would jump at this chance.

While none of this may actuay happen this season, it also could happen as soon as next week. Everyone is expecting action before September 1st, which seems to be the magical deadline.

nice move to the mwc, i was thinking that the big 12 (little 10) will try to make a move for byu and tcu or houston. But if houston goes to the mwc, the bcs should give them an automatic bcs bowl seed

I heard Utah State was trying to get back the 12th spot after they realized they were screwed by staying in the WAC.

Houston would be a giant in waiting if they were in the SEC or B12. There in one of the biggest recruiting hotbeds in the country and only lack funds that a BCS conference could provide. The B12 won't ever take them because it would be a direct threat on UT. I was hoping the SEC would go after them because they really have everything in place to be a national power.
