Memphis has come on strong towards the end of the year. Plus, you have to be careful for 1st time bowl teams. I think Memphis +3.5 is a great bet, plus take Memphis ML and the OVER

Florida Atlantic shocked the Sun Belt community in their final game of the season when they went into Troy and beat the Trojans by a 38-32 final count. The win allowed them to capture their first SBC Championship and the rights to represent the conference in this here bowl game. The Owls have experienced success under HC Schnellenberger in the past, but none more so than this year where they won all but one of their seven Sun Belt Conference games this season.
Their opponent, the Memphis Tigers, got off to a horrendous start to their 2007-08 season with losses to Mississippi, Arkansas State, and Central Florida. Their lone win came against Ohio Valley Conference representative Jacksonville State, and they were 1-3 before picking up a conference win against Marshall at home on October 2nd in a game broadcasted by ESPN on a Tuesday night. However, this team closed out their regular season schedule with its hair on fire winning 5 of its L/6 overall to allow them to make it back to the post-season after a one year absence.
These clubs are mirror images of one another. Both love to bomb away on the offensive side of the ball. Neither turns the ball over at a high clip. Both have proven QB’s that have solid field generals, FAU: Rusty Smith – 3352 yards with a TD/INT ratio of 27/7 Memphis: Martin Hankins – 2929 yards with a TD/INT ratio of 22/12. The Owls offense has averaged over 413 YPG and averaged 30 PPG, while the Tigers offense averaged 447 YPG and averaged 29 PPG. Defensively, the only way to distinguish one team from the other is seeing which school is next to the stats. Memphis allowed a total of 440 YPG this season (230 through the air & 210 on the ground). FAU allowed a total of 417 YPG this season (238 through the air & 180 on the ground). Memphis surrendered 31 PPG, while the Owls allowed opponents 34 PPG.

I like Memphis +3.5 and the under in a close one here. Memphis is just too big at wideout to be stopped i think. One unit each with a small ML play(+140)
