I couldnt imagine taking a middle of the road ACC team over an above average SEC team.....never would I do that. Just doesnt make sense. UNC could very well win the first game (doubt it) but the gamble is just not worth it. I hate LSU and Les Miles with the best of them but come on.....this will be one boring azz game that LSU will end up winning.

Ncaa back in chapel Hill for a 2nd interview. Joe Shad's Espn Twitter about an hour ago says Marvin Austin and Greg Little both wont play in the opener unless cleared by season start.

lots of big name guys in vegas like unc. too many question marks for tar heels with player suspensions to take them at this time. think unc may be coming into the season with a little too much hype and not a whole lot of production to back it up. no reason to jump on this number right now. plenty of time left and it shouldn't move enough to make it a factor in outcome.

Keep in mind that LSU lost a ton of starters. Best thing to do is to check UNC suspensions close to game time, but if they're a dog +3 it's the only way to go. HC of Tar Heels has this program improving every year. Can't say that about LSU.

Tim - Austin is out for sure maybe for the year but 99% sure hes not playing against LSU. Some new stuff came up from last year with current 49ers kentwan Balmer its up on espn. What you are saying about LSUs starters. They will be young at some spots but the Talent,speed, depth at Lsu is amazing. I dont think + 3 will get the job done but gl. What you will se is T.j. Yates vs. speed rush defensive ends Chavis says some of them run legit 4.5 40s with T.j yates throwing into what is basically 4 cbs in the defensive backfield you have Patrick Peterson 6-1 220 probably the best cover corner in The Sec if not cfb, other side is morris Claiborne all reports are another good cover corner, good enough to move Jai Eugene (15 cb starts at LSU) to FS The last one is Brandon Taylor speed burner was the top rated cb in Louisiana out of high school. T.j. Yates is a turnover waiting to happen now hes throwing into that 4 with a speed rush in his face good luck.

Exactly. I don't think this game will be as good as the past two previous ones. And I am sorry that TN turned down USC for a future one. (that would have been epic!) But even my Bama homer self has to root for LSU in this one.

I think LSU wins a close game, yeah Les Miles definitely isn't the best of coaches no doubt about that but UNC's offense is even more suspect, Yates is a bum at QB, at least Jordan Jefferson has talent lol

unc will most likely have people sitting, UNC's athletic director said until the allegations are finalized no one will play for UNC, and i doubt theyll be finalized by the opening game. Along with that UNC cant move the ball offensively and their defense over purses 3/4 of the time so LSU will get some big plays especially at home. This line is too easy LSU -1 all day
