Side note: I'd rather open up with conference play rather than a cupcake D-II match up any day. Opening week 1 with conference play is a good way to get headed in the right direction from day one rather than waiting three, four, five meaningless wins down the road to figure out your problems or that you suck once you play a team in your prospective conference, hence comparable recruits.
