Bowl Game Head Coaches Gone, Fired or Retired
I haven't yet checked totally, but my count right now is only three: UCLA coach fired, but I think he's gonna coach bowl game (if the players like him they may be fired up to win one for the jobless)

Dennis the Menace at Texas A&M - also don't yet know if he's coaching in the bowl.

And of course Lloyd Carr of Michigan. Last game, I think the players love him, Wolverines could geta big emotional lift for their bowl.

I'm sure I've missed someone. Anyone have more info?

Navy's Paul Johnson is one you missed. He just took the head coaching job at Georgia Tech today.

Yeah, I did miss that one. Big loss for Navy. Wonder if he's gonna coach their bowl game, the Poinsettia in San Diego I think, on Dec 20. Lots of retired Navy in that area.

I remember trying to use this situation in the past. It's tough to figure how a team will react. I got fooled a few times.
