This is going to be a low scoring game, and could go either way. I have been on the wrong side of the hat all season with wake but i think they have the edge in this one. They have more experience than UCONN and it will show in this one. WAKE 17-16

Going to have to wait on this one, I don't think Jim Grobe will be the coach of Wake within the next two weeks with all of the open jobs he will be a candidate for and not sure how to take that.

Uconn goes into this one with the better record but they are still an overrated team. A bad call versus Temple at the end of the game and a missed fair catch call against Louisville for a TD would put them at 7-5. Wake has recently gone 5-1 ATS as a TD or less favorite. I'm all over Wake on this one giving up 3 points.

Marc Lawrence has UConn picked to win by 7 in his 2007 COLLEGE BOWL STAT REPORT but I like Wake here.

Grobe is a very good coach who seems like he's staying at Wake.

Charlotte is essentially a home game for Wake (although the Deac's don't travel great). And they played pretty good football at the end of the year.

Big physical teams (Clemson) can mush Wake on both sides of the ball but I don't UConn can do that to the Deacs.

Don't look for the deamon deacs to be intimidated in this one, they'll back down from no-one and despite some early injuries i think they had just a good of a year this year as last. Their overall team speed is a great equalizer when going against many teams as well as their often times unique play calling, weather may be a question mark for this game but i will have an update on that as the game approaches.

Under looks good as rain will continue overnight and have a soggy field for a 1pm start. What does 413 mean? Wake Forest will complete short yardage passes and finish more drives. 1 unit under and 1 on wake to cover -2 and win SU.

Ever see a team cross midfield 5 times and not score? Wake playing liike crap. Stop the trick and misdirection plays and throw the ball downfield. UConn's offense is awful but Wake looks real slow.

Yes, half the teams I bet on do that. Michigan St. yesterday got 6 points on 5 trips inside the 30 yesterday.
