Two weeks ago I posted a thread on why Mizzou -7 @ KState was my play of the year, and well they covered easily. LAst week, I raised my bet on Mizzou +1.5 vs Kansas, and more than paid for my $200 ticket to the that game, accomodations, and related expenses.
Now these idiot oddmakers are giving us an early Xmas present. Yes, Oklahoma is good, and may in fact win (though I doubt it), but getting a healthier, red hot Mizzou team with 3 points is a steal. It was actually +3.5 for a short time on Bookmaker.com, so I raised my bet. Here's why Mizzou wins:
Momentum: Mizzou has all the confidence in the world and has been unstoppable since the loss to OU.
Revenge: Mizzou handed OU the first game with four TOs, and are ready to show the Sooners that the earlier performance was a fluke. Plus Chase Daniel did not throw an INT in November.
Mizzou's offense: To say that Mizzou's offense has been effective is a gross understatement. Nobody stops this team. 31+ points EVERY Game. Plus key injuries on Oklahoma's Defense will open the flood gates for MUs offense
Location: Yes, there will be more Sooner fans in San Antonio, but OU has not played well away from home. They lost to Colorado (MU beat them 55-10) and TX Tech (MU won 41-10) and struggled @ Iowa St.
QBs: Bradford is talented, but it's hard to count on a Frosh QB in a game of this magnitude. Chase Daniel has ice water in his veins and has so many weapons, expect another 40 completions.
Bet how you will, but take a closer look at this one. MIZZOU 45-31! MIZZOU-RAH!
