USF to play in Sun Bowl
This could be a blowout! A Pac10 team is nothing close to a Big East team at all.

USF to play in Sun Bowl

PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island (Ticker) -- South Florida on Tuesday accepted a bid to play in the Brut Sun Bowl.

The Bulls (9-3) will face a team from the Pac-10 Conference on December 31 in El Paso, Texas.

It marks the third straight bowl appearance for South Florida, which beat East Carolina in last year's PapaJohns.com Bowl and lost to North Carolina State in the 2005 Meineke Car Care Bowl.

South Florida, which climbed as high as No. 2 in the rankings this season, finished 4-3 in Big East Conference play.

Don't care who they play or even if they eventually put the BCS Title Game there, I can think of 4,567,890 other places I'd rather be on New Year's Eve than El Paso.

It depends on who in the Pac-10 they play, if it is Oregon they have a shot because Oregon is playing with a backup QB currently. Just wait and see who they play first.

I don't think the back up QB would really matter to Oregon with the way they are stacked from a talent standpoint Tblues. You just have to ask yourself how many points is Dixon really worth when they set that line.
