Guys I'm not one to play too many of these stand alone games, and when I do it's generally not the favorite. I know both of these teams very well, and really like Troy tonight. I listened to MTSU's coach and a few of their key players' press conference a couple of days ago, and they just seem absolutely shot after that loss to UL-Lafayette. Troy's the better team all around anyways, and I look for Troy's opportunistic defense to capitalize on more MTSU turnovers. On the flip side of the ball, I don't see how MTSU stops Haugabook and the Troy rushing attack. I feel confident in saying that you'll see Troy's front line control both lines of scrimmage in this one. I look for Troy to win this game somewhere in the 21-31 point range, making this a good play on the spread even with the line having gone up today.
I don't have a clue about the spread on this one, but wish good luck to those playing it. GL...
