      JJ,
They just gave him a ten year extension. Weis isn't going anywhere.

No, I don't. Charlie leaves, at least in the near future, only if Charlie wants to leave and go back to the NFL (which would seem less likely now that the bloom is off the rose, so to speak).

I don't see ND paying him off, it would cost them a fortune. (Not that money is a problem for the Golden Domers).

And this isn't a Ty Willingham type situation. ND never really wanted Ty. He was a fall back guy after the George O'Leary fiasco. And, they cut him loose as soon as they got a chance.

It was not a good loss. I'll grant you that. But you guys were banged up and playing your third or fourth string QB. And you have shown a tendency this year to play down to the level of your opponents. And turnovers just killed you in that game.

i don't understand how such a solid program and get so bad so fast, they even have the #1 recruited QB. What a sad day for ND. They are just awful. It hurts to watch them.

Weis is a stone cold idiot. Can't even remember the game now, think it was Purdue, but this clown was going for it on 4th and 15 from his own 20 in a two possession game.

I would lay some money that he is a mental deficiency in his brain, if he has one.

All great QBs make their offensive coordinators "geniuses", when in reality, they are morons (Weis and Turner come to mind).

Weiss is an ass and a slob but he's not getting fired. He just signed a 10 year deal that ND would have to eat.

Weiss also brought in some ridiculous recruiting classes the past couple of years.

He will be given two more years to coach them up IMO.

I think he will be there for at least another two years you would think. You might be right jjgold but I think he will be there at least another two years.
