Wasn't sure where to put this, but this seemed like as good of place as any.
Anyways, I noticed Pinny put out lines on CIS(Canadian University) football this week. Though I don't know much about outside of Ontario, I do know these Ontario teams fairly well.
The talent disparity in Canadian football is very wide, and good teams simply beat up on bad ones.(Sorry to state the obvious). Anyways, I feel very comfortable taking these games:
Western vs Queens(-6.5)
Queens has a strong team, and played the #2 nationally ranked Ottawa squad very tough just a few weeks ago. They sometimes struggle to score on tough defenses, but their strong running game should have no problem with Western. I'm not sure if Western is getting credit because of their name, but they really just aren't very good this year. They squeaked into the playoffs with 4 wins over the worst 4 teams in the league.
Queens in a rout.
Guelph(+7) vs McMaster
Not impressed with this Mac team all that much. These two teams played last week in a contest that decided home field, and Mac won by a single point, 37-36, and that was after scoring with just 7 seconds left. Mac has shown improvement, but I still like this underrated Guelph team. They've got a lot of fight in them, and played #4 ranked Laurier extremely tough at home. They held the lead early in the game before getting worn down by arguably the best rusher in the league, Ryan Lynch. Either way, they should be able to show a lot of improvement on D vs last week, and win outright if not keep it close.
