I'm no Pags, but here are my CFB Plays this week....
Air Force +6 at New Mexico (5 Units)
Game Note: AF has won 3 straight in the series. They typically match up well with Rocky Long's squad.

    South Florida - 4 1/2 at UCONN (5 Units)
Game Note: This is a feel pick. The home team has won each of the last 2, but I'm going to buck the trend. The speed of the USF defense coupled with an angry squad coming off the Rutgers loss spells doom for the Huskies.

Ole Miss +17 1/2 at Auburn (5 Units)
Game Note: Another feel pick. Coach Cookie Monster's (Orgeron) squad played the Tigers tough last year in Oxford, and they were lucky to escape with a win. Ole Miss is a one of the most physical teams in the SEC, despite their record. Auburn is coming off a very physical game with LSU, and I think a physical Ole Miss team stays close enough to get the money.

    Texas A&M + 2 1/2 vs. Kansas (5 Units)
Game Note: The Aggies are 7-1 SU vs. Kansas, and have covered each of the last 3 meetings. Kansas has only played one game outside of the state of Kansas, and has no business laying road chalk at hostile Kyle Field

SMU +14 at Tulsa (3 Units)
Game Note: SMU has covered 3 straight in the series, including an outright win last season. SMU seems to match up well with Tulsa. I'm going to keep riding the trend until I fall off.

Utah State +2 1/2 vs. LA Tech (2 Units)
Game Note: Another feel pick. Utah State almost knocked off both Nevada and San Jose State, but are still searching for their first win of the season. This will be LA Tech's first game at altitude this year, and the Aggies have been relatively tough at home this year. Two bad football teams, but I really like Utah State to get the money for me this week.

    Georgia +8 1/2 vs. Florida (20 Units)
Game Note: Each of the last 5 meetings have been decided by a Touchdown or less. The teams are comparable in talent, and UGA is coming off an off week. This is a rivalry game, and UGA is due for a win in this series. I don't believe the leghumpers will get the win, but I do believe they will get me the money.

Miss State + 14 at Kentucky (10 Units)
Game Note: Sylvester Croom's team is much improved. The last 2 matchups have been decided by 6 points and 3 points respectively. Also, I believe this is a let down spot for Kentucky after playing South Carolina, LSU and Florida in consecutive weeks. The Bulldogs need 2 more wins to become bowl eligible with games against Alabama, Arkansas and Ole Miss following this one. I look for a strong effort out of Miss State. Probably won't be enough to beat the Cat's in Lexington, but I will grab 2 touchdowns and roll with them.

I don't think you have to be Pags to post and be taken seriously. In fact, I speak with Pags routinely and he tells me he wishes that more people would post their plays and engage in discussion on the games.

That being the case, I think you have a nice card going. I like the TXAM play quite a bit as I think their running game is strong enough to keep the chains moving and put up points on the board. If TXAM can run the ball like they are capable of doing they should win this game by 7-10 pts. I think it is asking kansas a lot to win on the road especially against TXAM who has a very strong homefiled. This game is eriely similar to the Missouri/TXAM game from last year where Missouri was undefeated, just beat TT, and went into College Station as the favorite and lost. I expect it to happen again.

Be careful with Ole Piss. Last year, there was a huge point spread where they were dogs @ ARK and I hopped all over them thinking they were the right side and they got annihilated. Ole Miss does not have much going for them and they tend to be much stronger/competitive at home. Not a team I would personally back but Auburn laying that many points does not entice me either.

I like Georgia myself and wish i could have gotten +10 but UF is a little bit better than I though this year (good coaching will do that) and Georgia is not as good as I thought (bad loss to Tennessee; struggle @ VANDY). That being the case, this is a pretty intense rivalry (dominated by UF though) and Mark Richt has been very profitable as a dog especially on the road. I'd take my chances with Georgia before UF.

Not going to consider SMU seriously as that is a team that has given up big time. Phil Bennet is a lame duck coach. However, Tulsa's defense is horrible and SMU should be able to move the ball on them. Both teams are even statistically in many categoris. Tulsa has stuggled with some inferior competition and has covered ony 1 game (predictably the game I bet against them). SMU would be my lean.

    I lean toward New Mexico.

The rest I have no opinion..... but good luck!

Thanks for the feedback BuddyBear! I've been on a pretty good run the last month, up 50 units over that span + $2,500) It's neat to be able to gauge other's opinions on the games I play. A lot of trend and matchup research goes into my selections, but sometimes I just get a feel for a line on certain games that would seem to have no logic behind them (i.e. The Utah State and SMU picks) Some of these games are outside of my region (The Southeast) and I haven't seen as much of these teams as I would like. That type of information is especially helpful in a forum like this.

Hey guys! new to this site. I like the picks Bravo. Especially A&M +2 and Ole Miss +17. A&M because of their rushing attack and Miss because of Brandon Cox's inconsistent play.

Florida hasn't beaten a team by double digits since Tennessee in week 3 and Tebow is banged up... but for some reason I like them to cover... definitely shying away from this one.

What do you guys think about OSU @ PSU? I like the Buckeyes, their second half was puzzling against Mich St but I don't think they get enough credit...

I like the Buckeyes too. If that line comes down to 3 I'm all over it. I think Jim Heacock's defense will force Morelli into some mistakes, as he is prone to do. I laid the road chalk with Ohio State at Purdue and cashed in nicely. I don't see Penn State getting much going on the ground, and I don't trust Morelli as far as I could throw him. Like I said, if this line comes down to 3 it's about a 5 unit play for me. I may decide to buy the 1/2 point, but I think the betting public will bring it down for me.

I like the Texas AM play. Getting 2.5 seems worthless though. I would buy .5 or take Texas AM ML.

I really like S. Florida but disagree with the SMU play. SMU is total garbage and will have a hard time keeping up with Tulsa offense.

Time to assess my Saturday. My posted picks here went 5-3, I went 10-3 overall on games I actually played today. I was really surprised by the results of the Texas A&M and South Florida games, but I'm pretty pleased with the overall result. I picked up a total of 67.76 ($3,388.00 for me) Units of net profit today, cashing in big with my 20 unit play on UGA and my 10 unit play on Miss State. All in all, I had the best Saturday I've had in a LONG time. Other games I played today, including a 4 team parlay I hit:

                    Sides:

                    Iowa State +28 1/2 (5 Units)
                    Colorado +13 1/2 (5 Units)
                    Memphis +2 (5 Units)
                    West Virginia -6 (10 Units)
                    Ohio State -3 (5 Units)

4 Team Parlay (placed on Monday when the early lines came out) paid $338.14

                    Ole Miss +17 1/2
                    Ohio State -3 1/2
                    Nebraska +21 1/2
                    Georgia +9 1/2

I've learned to appreciate days like this, because they don't come along too often!
