Yes VT is very hard to beat at blacksburg, however all that will change Thursday night on national tv. VT offense has showed no sign of life, and i believe they will continue to rely on their defense.
BC has a strong defense against the run only allowing 46.9 yards per game so far this year.(1st in ncaa) They are not that great in protecting the pass, however they still manage to currently lead the ncaa in INT with 19. Matt Ryan will come out explosive tonight and prove he is a QB ready for the NFL.
This match-up seems to me 2-1 edge BC. For VT to have a chance, they will have to get the run going, however with that offensive line struggling and battered with injurys going up against the #1 rush defense in the league... I dont see that happening.
