Not playing the 119th ranked schedule, they won't....but this is what June Jones asks for when he schedules the way he does. Thankfully, there is justice.

Exactly, #18 is too high. They are about 30-35th best team in the country, even that might be pushing it.

Wow, Cal fell that much when they didn't even have their starting QB... I can't believe South Florida is 2nd and BC is 3rd. What a fukked up year for College Football.

As for Hawaii, they can blame it on the bad weather for their poor performance, but they are just not a good away team.

I'd like to see USC @ Hawaii Bowl come on USC lose another one.

That would be a great match up. Since it's in Hawaii I make Hawaii a 3 point favorite.

Hawaii could run the table in the Big Ten.

don't you boys go worrying yer pretty little heads too much about the BCS at this point. Ain't they gonna play another game or two before they start proclaiming the National Champs? they'll get it pretty close to right by showtime.

Looking at the schedules it's very possible that Hawaii will be undefeated and all other teams will have two losses. If thats the case do the Rainbows deserve a chance?

Drunken Lullaby, it's not June Jones who schedules opponents, it's the AD. Hawaii had a "great" schedule for 2007, UNTIL 2005 and 2006 when teams seen Hawaii play and started to back out of games.........Texas, Michigan St, and a lot more BCS teams. Thats the reason for the weak schedule this year.

now here's someone who's speaking good sense. hard to play hawaii at home, especially with brennan at the helm. scared off a good big ten team in mich state. there defensive play doesn't look decent because off lesser opponents, but believe me they are deep in the D. Fresh bodies every series. IMO they will blow teams from this point on. starting with NMXST

Hawaii will probably blow out New Mexico State. I agree with that.

But, after that, I'm thinking they might lose one or two in November (tough Fresno State team at Hawaii; then Nevada away, probably in the freezing cold, maybe in snow (ESPN2); then the WAC showdown with Boise State at Hawaii (ESPN2)).

The WAC teams are far from Big 10 or Big 12 or SEC caliber. But, among themselves, WAC games are catfights. You saw that Nevada/Boise State game. Also, the travel, especially for Hawaii, is grueling -- Hawaii to Louisiana Tech, or Hawaii to Reno or Boise or Moscow to play in the snow. I personally don't think Hawaii will make it through November unscathed. A loss to one of these WAC teams, especially if it's Nevada, will drop their ranking considerably.

Hawaii in 2007 is not Boise State in 2006. Those just don't come around very often.
