The Rivalry Michigan Vs Ohio State
The Michigan – Ohio State football Rivalry is the college football story between the Universities of Michigan as well as Ohio State. It attracted particular national interest for half the time of century. The game is ranked as the number one North American sports event by ESPN in 2000. The Michigan Vs Ohio State match starts by 10 pm EST which means that you still have enough time for catching the live stream. The final match will be a clash between any of the two Midwest state schools and the event will be held at the end of the regular season. Ohio and Michigan States decided the Conference of the Big Ten championship between these two teams on 22 situations.
Just after the 2007 season, the retirement of Lloyd Carr retired as coach, at Michigan, was a big loss to the Ohio State. Tressel got the 6–1 record versus Michigan teams of Carr and left Carr with a career record (6-7) while clashed with Ohio State.
The present 2008 game, Rodriguez’s primary clash with Buckeyes, featured an Ohio State team who was in need of a win for securing the fourth Big Ten championship straightly.
Michigan entered the game with record and was suffering with so many losses than the other seasons in their history. After some big plays the Buckeyes got a win of 42–7. OSU scored their largest victory margin against Michigan since 1968. IT pushed their winning chances while opposing the Wolverines for the five games.
Ohio State beaten the powerful Michigan 21–10 (2009). That match extended their winning chances against the Michigan team for six games as well as for improving record of Jim Tressel against Michigan to 8–1.

The 2009 meet made Buckeye to safe Justin Boren, who was transferred to Ohio State from Michigan last season, for becoming the third player in the history of the school to play for the two teams J. T. White as well as Howard Yerges, Jr. Boren is the second to play for the two teams in the game.

I really do not understand what you are trying to say here. Is this just talk about the Michigan-Ohio State rivalry? Obviously it has not been the biggest rivalry of late, because Michigan has played so poorly. You state that: "Ohio State beaten the powerful Michigan 21-10 (2009)." You certainly can not call a 5-7 team "powerful". Please explain what "IT pushed their winning chances while opposing the Wolverines for the five games" mean. Were you talking about Ohio State's 5 game winning streak prior to last season's win? A rivalry is only as good as the two teams that play in it are. Lately, Michigan has not been very good, nor has this rivalry. I suggest the "Civil War" between Oregon and Oregon State has been much more competitive in the past three years, as has Georgia-Georgia Tech in the past two years.

I was watching this show this weekend about how the states were formed and I found out how the rivalry started.

Long ago Ohio was a state and Michigan was still a republic in the 1800s. At the time all the states and republics surrounding the great lakes were continually changing their border lines along the lakes because they wanted more water frontage.

There was a 400something square mile piece of land called the Toledo Strip that the battle came down too. People from Ohio thought Michigan people were such nasty individuals THEY gave them the name wolverines. People from Michigan took to they name because how ferocious the animal was.

Since Ohio had representation in congress, because they were a state, they won the land. But, it didn't end all that bad for Michigan. Michigan was awarded the upper pennisula and that dwarfs the toledo strip. But, i love the fact, Ohio gave Michigan the name wolverines.

Not much of a rivalry these days.

Don't see us beating them as long as Tressel is there and they get their pick of the litter in that state.

Michigan, like most Big 10 schools, must do better in the recruitment department. Ohio State is not that difficult to beat. Just ask Pete Carroll. However to beat them, you must have good athletes.

Yes. Most definately in Columbus. Next year in Ann Arbor is do or die year for Rich Rod, if Michigan finishes over .500 this year. If Michigan loses to Ohio State at home next year, Rich Rod is finished.

Michigan gets good recruits, they just haven't kept them. They had Ryan Mallet who has been great at Arkansas.

funny shit, left when rich rod came to town cuz no way in hell he could operate a spread offense.

he's more the pro style QB and not a particularly gifted athlete.

It looks like Iowa and Ohio State are once again set to be the top two teams in the conference this football season...........the Buckyeye visit Iowa late in the season.
