I hate chalk.....and I like Florida State.

Just a tough matchup for Wake, who may not score more than 10 points vs. this Noles defense. On the other side of ball, yes Wake defense is good vs. run, but Florida State can't run anyway, and Wake can be passed on.

The question is why is FSU a favorite in the game???? They avg 17 points on the road and they have only played one real team.. Clemson.. and UAB scored 24 points against them in there house and they should have beat them..Wake has played BC, maryland, nebraska and Duke is not that bad.. They avg. 23 points at home. I guess i just don't see how FSU can lay 6 to the 14 returning starters from last years ACC champs.. Stick a fork in FSU..Wake is going to rock FSU straight up hands down.. Vegas dropped the ball on this line.

I just think that people see Florida State name and think they just will roll over any ACC team, but I just see that Wake has played WAY better teams then FS has this year, and I hate when they throw in that this will be a revenge game. There was a reason they got their azz handed to them last year. Just like everyone was saying that West Virginia has a revenge game against South Florida, and we saw how that turned out. I just think that this seems like a name like Florida State is driving this line into a -5.5 then a +3. I could see Wake out right win this.

While I'm sure popularity plays a part in it, I actually think this is a valid line, as the FSU defense is clearly superior and I think the Noles will be able to pass the ball well here. And revenge works better if it is on the side of the better team, which I feel that Florida State is.

I’m staying away from this game. Wake Forest struggles against teams that throw a lot but is always in the games against mediocre teams like Nebraska and FSU. FSU frequently chokes when the spotlight is on. This one is a toss up. The game will be close till the 4th quarter when one mistake can swing the game by a TD. If I desperately have to make a bet I would tease WF to + 11 or tease the under to +50. I can’t get a read for this game. Yesterday’s Navy game was so much easier to cap and I’ll save my money for something better.

I'm on the Noles with ya buddy! The X-Factor @ QB will make the difference in the game 2night! X-Lee makes the Noles so much more effective on offense... If the Noles can get A. Smith runnin the ball effectively than this could be a rout! Look for X-Lee to get the ball to Preston Parker and Greg Carr and for them to make plays in the open field! Parker is a threat in the return game as well! I don't think Wake will be able to keep up!
