    Florida's Next Tim Tebow?
He is converted QB Jordan Reed, who Urban Meyer says will be used in 3rd and short situations at QB. The 6' 3" Freshman was a TE. He is working out of the Wildcat formation and throwing some passes. Does this sound famailar?

This is esactly the way Tebow started off. He was a back-up that came in on 3rd down situations. Brantley is a Junior, so look for this trend for the next two years. You would think that teams in the SEC would be used to seeing this.

Maybe, maybe not. As far as Tebow's ability to lead the team, you are right. As far as Tebow's physical ability, that is not hard to match.

This is going to backfire on Meyer. You can only go to the well so many times and then people catch on. Jordan Reed is not a Tim Tebow. I am concerned about Meyer and the Florida program now. Meyer is not acting like Meyer. Florida is starting to lose respect for their refusal to leave the State of Florida for a non-con game, eliminating any decent non-con games, unless you think Florida State is a great non-con game. This program may have seen it's best days. With the rebirth of Alabama and Auburn, Georgia getting stronger, LSU still in the mix, and Arkansas on the improve, life for Florida will get much tougher in the next few years. Tennessee is not be as bad as they are now. Florida State will also improve now that Bobby B is where he should have been years ago. With his family.

Which is exactly what this whole post is about. Meyer is going to use this converted QB Reed in their wildcat offense, on 3rd and short, etc...

That is totally wrong. Coach Meyer loves Brantley, John is going to be the second or thrid best QB in the SEC this season. When he's a SR. he will be All-SEC.
