I dunno about Minn +14. Reason being, they can't seem to hold
anyone on D. Check out the stats below. Florida International, not a powerhouse by any stretch, hung some big points on the Gophers. Purdue can score. No question there. Minnesota also has a decent offense and Purdue doesn't seem to have much of a defense either (see the stats below). If you're heading down the path of taking some action on this game, I think the over is worth a strong look.
Over is 20-6-1 in MINN last 27 home games.
Over is 7-2-1 in PURD last 10 games in September.
Over is 6-2 in MINN last 8 games in September.

I too would anticipate a high-scoring affair in this one. I think Big Ten openers get teams geeked. I lean Minnesota here but am not sure yet whether I will play them or not. Minnesota or nothing for me.

i like Purdue, no way Minnesota can keep them down, however the 14 scares me a little, Purdue defense is not great

14 points at home does look tempting, but major conference teams are 5 - 12 so far this year getting points at home. Most of those looked pretty good too.

I like the over more here than taking a side on this one because I don't think anybody can stop anyone here. I predict a track meet more like here.
