        IMG,

I will be attending that Illinois/Indiana game next Saturday! Who would have thought that these two teams would actually make for a good matchup!? I would have to say that Indiana will be favored by 3 or so in that one... It should be one hell of a game!

As for the others, I'm about to drink a 5th of Jim Beam after WATCHING FVCKING ALABAMA BLOWING A 21 POINT LEAD IN THE 2ND HALF... 28 PTS IN A ROW FOR ARKANSAS! I'M ABSOLUTELY SICK OVER THIS ONE! NOT OVER YET, BUT BAMA LOOKS LIKE ABSOLUTE FVCK! I haven't been this dissapointed about a game in a long ass time!

Purdue should take them to the woodshed but things usually don't work out that way in that stadium. I haven't played the Boilers yet and they're 3-0 (if you include the 1-AA game) ATS so I'm going to lay off again. I don't really see how the Gophers keep it close with Purdue's weapons and improved D (it's up to mediocre from horrible).

Painter is light years ahead of where he was last year at this time. The ball is getting spread to folks not named Bryant and he's actually thrown the ball away a few times.

Evidently it was a positive to return everyone but Spencer back on D as they really have improved. The secondary no longer looks completely lost as it did a year ago but it's still a weakness.

The loss of Taylor really hurts in the long run but probably doesn't matter in this one as Tiller will be content to air it out all day since Minnesota won't be able to do anything about it. Dustin Keller is the most talented tight end at Purdue in a couple decades and seems to have come into his own.

Pass blocking has been great but they've also faced weak D'Lines. I don't know if Painter has been touched more than a couple times in 3 games. Good news is Minnesota won't present much more of a challenge in that aspect (if any).

The best play may be to lay the 1st half points. Purdue's had the full game spread covered in both their lined games and then coasted from there. Minnesota has fallen behind in each of their 3 games before rallying late in the game. If you can get Purdue -6.5/-7 for the half it would be hard to turn that down.

Here are my comments with these games:

                                    ILL @ IND---NO OPINION

MIAMI OHIO @ COLO---Will more than likely play Miami-Ohio

WASH @ UCLA---had an early lean with Washington; have looked deeper and now have NO OPINION.

GEORGIA @ BAMA---Lean Alabama here but will likely not play it.

PENN ST @ MICHIGAN---Lean Michigan here, kind of on the fence at the time of this posting.

                                    TT @ OKLA ST---NO OPINION

MICHIGAN ST @ ND---Lean Notre Dame here; we have yet to see Mich State on the road; Mich St has only covered against lowly UAB. Looks like too many points. On the fence whether this is a play or not.

CSU @ HOUSTON---NO OPINION but really want to watch this one.

UK @ ARK----In love with Kentucky. Definitely a play for me.

So.CAR @ LSU---Lean South Carolina here but likely will not play.

IOWA @ WISC----Like Wisconsin a lot here; likely will be a play for me.

PUR @ MINN----Like Minnesota here....Minnesota has looked like crap but this is a Big 10 opener. As Wassymac has stated on this board, it is usually a tight game in the Dome when Purdue goes to visit; on the fence as to whether I'll play this or not.

                                    OREGON @ STANFORD----NO OPINION

OSU @ ASU----Like Oregon State here with the extended time to prepare for this game (Idaho State really doesn't count). Defense is solid (cincy score is very misleading) and I believe Reilly will get his offense straightened out. Probably a play for me.
