ESPN "tips" scroller...looks like good picks...
    Hi,
I'm watching the WVa game, and there is a scroller at the bottom of the screen where they give information about one of the teams in each of the matchups for the next game. Maybe I am naive, but it looks to me like you can get good picks from the stats they give. Here is my list so far, you have to watch the scroller lots of times and write everything down because it goes by so fast, so I might add more to this.

    Nebraska
    LSU
    Oklahoma
    Florida
    Wisconsin
    California
    UL (Louisiana)
    OSU
    UCLA
    Penn State
    Ga Tech
    Clemson
    UGA
    Hawaii

the problem with these little tidbits of information is that it is readily available to all cappers, so the line has already been adjusted accordingly. I think you can throw everything you know into the mix when making your picks, but hopefully no one is naive enough to make the picks entirely based on one nugget of info that scrolls during a game that millions of people are watching.

      Very True....
I think I saw that ticker on monday night.... Oh ya and they rarely even consider ATS on so this further complicates things.

They dont make picks, they just give you stats.
Stats like Team XYZ scored 135 points in their first 2 games this year.
        Or,
Team ABC outscored their opponents 126-10 in the first 2 games this year.
You are saying you don't find information like that useful?

There is pretty much nothing on ESPN that can give you an edge in capping and if anything it may work in reverse.
