This one is the "Pinstripe Bowl" (I kid you not) to be played on December 30th at, you guessed it, Yankee Stadium. The participants will be the Big East #3 team against the Big 12 #6 team. ESPN will televise this game. Aparently ESPN signed a 5 year contract to televise this game. Does anyone not believe that this game was set up for Notre Dame, who is counted as a Big East team for all bowl games that are not BCS games? How obvioius can they be?
This gives us 33 bowl games, if my count is correct. So 66 out of the 120 FBS teams get to go to games. No wonder teams have to schedule 1 or 2 FCS games a year. They need to so enough teams qualify for these ridiculous Bowl Games.
