I didn't have any Best Bets in week 1 of the college football season, which was a good thing considering that my Strong Opinions mostly lost. I'm only 52% on my week 1 Best Bets historically, which is part of the reason why I passed last week, but I'm 61% in Week 2 and I have some good early season indicators that kick in this week.

Found out that his strong opinions went 4-5 last week:

Miami, OH; Utah; ULM Tulsa Over; Wyoming; Stanford; Zona; ULL; C Mich; and N Mex

I think he'll do better in the coming weeks because he requires stats to do his thing. there are obviously no stats going into week 1

The over in Tulsa was a tough one as Tulsa missed chip shot FG under 2 minutes to go.

And Utah losing RB and QB in 1st half.

Actually, I think the opening line on Tulsa-ULM Over/Under was 51, and it landed 52 (35-17).

So he covered the opener but not the closing line
