    Why would UAB kick a meaningless FG?
    I had the under 23 in the second half and it looked good until UAB kicked a meaningless FG as time expired. Bummer...

    who knows, that is rare. i didn't see it so i'm not exactly sure what happened, but sorry to hear about that loss...

        usually teams don't do that, because they don't want to run the score up, or go for meaningless points...maybe it was a rookie kicker or something and they wanted to give him game action...not sure
