    Notre Dame
This thread is for you BuddyBear...

As most of you know, I am a huge Irish fan, but that schedule is rough. I think they will be lucky to win five games. My question is, how do you guys they will fair ats this year?

There QB situation is still up in the air right now, and Clausen just got in some major trouble if you believe what rivals.com reported.

Thanks Illusion. I like Notre Dame. If you like college football you like Notre Dame. ND has a lot of tradition, history, great players, stadium, etc....

I just don't like the special treatment they receive. I've always thought it very unfair.

That being the case, they may have some good value this year b/c their early season schedule is very difficult and they could start of slow and be undervalued by the middle of the season.

I am still debating taking them against GT. ND -2.5 has some real value considering this line opened up -9 (LVSC).

      What do you think Illusion?

Considering that type of movement I would have no choice but to take ND. I agree with your statement that ND should have great value come midseason. What is your projected win total for them this season?

everyone has left them for dead, so I could see a decent ATS season

I heard Clausen got caught trying to get someone to buy alcohol for him.

Their over/under on wins is 7 games and that is a real possibility. I always hear every year about how tough ND's schedule but its no different from a bcs conference schedule.

I think they will get 5 or 6 wins this year.

There are a lot of ND fans around here too... ND may be the most over rated team in the last 3 years of all time... Their claim to fame is a loss against USC... This year I agree they will be lucky to win 5 games and it's hard to say how they will do ATS this early...

                    7-5 (SU) BC game's a toss-up.

I think they will fair well ATS, particularly early on. PSU and UM will obviously be heavy favs, but they're predominantly running teams and unlikely to cover a big number.

I'm also considering the Irish in week 1.
