Are they really that bad this year?
UCLA is the only win?
Should we be pounding Ohio State??

USC won too and Stanford was more competitive than I expected today.
I do lean Ohio State though.

Ohio State QB is their biggest offensive threat by far... and he has a tear in his knee.... will play, but will he be able to run like he does so well???

This is a tough one. That option has proven to be very difficult to deal with this bowl season and Oregon has a very diverse version of it, couple that with Ohio State not being quick strike and Pryor maybe being injured, probably not that bad or they would not risk him when he is coming back next year (Andrew Luck for instance did not play). This game is very tricky to say the least. No edge IMO. I don't know enough to make an educated decision here. I would lean Oregon because of the success that the option seams to be having.

Ohio State is one of my top plays. Their defense should contain Oregon and make this a very tight game. Can't back any Pac 10 teams after these performances. Taking Tressel and the points.

Ohio St. has been looking to explode but it just hasnt happened all year. I think this is the game. Oregon is a good team but not good enough for this one. Ohio St. should not have too big of a problem here. As much as I hate Ohio St. I love em in this one.

I like Oregon here. This year they have played 2 common opponents: Purdue and USC. Ohio St. lost at Purdue 26-18 and Oregon won at home against Purdue 38-36. Ohio St. lost at home against USC 18-15 and Oregon won at home against USC 47-20. So you have Ohio St. losing to both Purdue and USC and Oregon beating them both. One other thing you might want to keep in mind is the time off. Oregon last played Dec. 3 and Ohio St. hasn't played since Nov. 21. This is one reason why the Big 10 seems to struggle in bowl games. Also, Ohio St. hasn't faced an offense anything like this all year. I also feel that Oregon has played tougher teams this year. Oregon played 5 top 25 teams and Ohio St. played 3. (I am a Big 10 fan, Michigan to be exact. Go ahead and laugh). I really feel that Ohio St. just can't control the Oregon offense and I gotta take Oregon.

Other than the MWC, which conference is having a great year? I think you have to look a t the two teams involved in these games, not the conferences. I'll take Oregons three pronged attack over Ohio States defense. It will be close, until the 4th quarter, when Oregon wears down Ohio States defense.
