Nope, Cincinatti is the visiting team, although considering this is actually useless in predicting the outcome of a game, and simply a nice little coincidence, i wouldn't exactly bet the bank.

Usually the team on the bottom is the home team, maybe in the bowls they change that or are inconsistent about it, if this is true, then non of this really matters

it wouldnt have mattered anyway.. next time why don't you split the alphabet into which team is closer to A and which is closer to Z.. come back to me with which team is more likely to win.. that might be more significant.

You should go with "alphabetical" picks next time.

In bowl games, Vegas tries to put all the favorites on the bottom. The only exceptions I noted was the UCLA-Temple game and that was because it took an extra week to determine Temple's opponent, and the Ohio Marshall game, which opened was a pick. The Vegas "rotation" does not accurately reflect who is the home team and who is the visitor. Did anyone figure out who was the hoe team in the Air Force-Houston game?

If you really think that Texas Tech is a play, I suggest you read the headlines of the past few days.

Actually, that makes Texas Tech a STRONGER play. Not many tears were shed because of firing.

I think the original poster mistakenly thought that there were REAL home teams in bowls, not realizing they are on neutral fields.
