Interesting thing to note in Oregon states last game against Oregon…they had to settle 5 times for a FG…Last years Bowl game against Pitt(oh the pain still felt by that one,Dam Dumb Mustache!) They won by a FG..3-0.…(Can't kick field goals at a TD party!!)This aint Pitt this year.. AND BYU puts TD’s up…
BYU QB Max Hall will be playing in his final game and he leads a pass heavy attack that ranks 12th in the nation in passing yards…. He threw for 3368 yards this year and 30 TDs…..
He will be going up against a defense that ranks 87th in pass defense giving up 238.6 yards per game…
The Beavers are 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS in bowls during Rileys tenure but keep in mind the last three Bowl wins came by only a combined 11 points (1, 7, 3). Last year they played Pitt in the wind bowl and won 3-0 ,tonight winds could reach up to 20 miles per hour and gusts up to 30 mph, hopefully they score only 3 again!
The Cougars will reach back into their history today when they don royal-blue uniforms to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the national title...Byu will be playing the no respect motivation theme as they know BYU is the higher-ranked team (No. 15 AP) but is the underdog in the MAACO Bowl (by 2 ½ points) to the No. 16 Beavers...It has been brought up by the media to the Cougs players in media questions...I cant see any reason to dought BYU wins this game...better defense,homefield advantage with alot more family and fans...the no respect thing, motivation after last years flat appearance....all systems Gooooooooooooooo!!
87-13% on Ost ,Line is staying firmly at -2.5 -115....I'm REALLY Loving that! I hope this sucker sits at 2.5 all the way...I may have to POUND BYU!(BIG)... Classic SUCKER Line! Books get the action they want and get -115 to boot! I seen this Happen ALOT Last year!

Both teams played a common opponent this year in UNLV. Oregon State won a close one 23-21 as -6.5 point favorites, while BYU blew out UNLV in conference play 59-21 as -16.5 point favorites Both games were played here at Sam Boyd Stadium….lastly…Oregon State suffered a HUGE Disappointment in losing the bid for the rose bowl….This is not where both teams really want to be but Id say The Mormons having lost last year in this same Bowl will be more anxious about being in it for redemption.... 41 married players on the BYU team, Bet the wives bitched all year for losing it last year!
