A Bowl system that has gone 20-5 the last 2 years
Snapstick has already started a thread that looks to be the same formula from my bowl system that I posted on here last year.

    Here is last year's thread:

Sports betting and handicapping forum: discuss picks, odds, and predictions for upcoming games and results on latest bets.

The system is now 20-5 over the last two years. I will post what I think the plays should be this year in this thread, simply for consistency so that I can reference this thread again next year. This is no knock against Snapstick, it looks like he already has the correct plays, but I will double-check them and post my plays here.

And by the way....don't ever try to use this during the regular season. I tried and failed.

Here is the system in a nutshell:

Take every Sagarin top 60 team whose SOS is better than 60 AND who is facing an opponent whose SOS is worse than 60.

This has been discussed at length. It has been a hot system for the last two years. If you further study the system, you will see that the teams that have been picked all play in conferences that are generally considered to be better than the conferences that their opponents play in.

              At least he tries.

              Little too chalky for me.

According to the system rules, Wyoming was the play against Fresno State and won. That is the only game so far to have fallen into the system's perview. The next games will be Oregon State over BYU, and Cal over Utah, according to the system. They will also have SMU over Nevada to round out the pre-Christmas Bowl game schedule.

2-0 according to Snapstick's posted plays. He had Wy and Rutgers. The original play was UCF but that was done before the Army/Navy game. Rankings changed after that.

This is not the exact same system in the other thread. The REAL system is to fade any team in top 60 whose SOS is worse than 60 UNLESS they are playing a team with worse SOS then you play not fade.

Guys, can you posssibly educate me on the difference between the Sagarin and SOS rating, how do they count both?
                            What does SOS stand for?
