This game is played in Florence Alabama (North Alabama). This pits two of the best D2 programs of the decade. Both of these teams are evenly matched, but I think Northwest is a little more battle tested. Grand Valley State is like the Ohio State of division 2 except they win their big games. They schedule good OOC teams but their conference, for the most part, stinks. Grand Valley hasn't left the "cozy" confines of the midwest since August. It's on a neutral field, but it will feel like more of a road game for them.
Northwest hasn't lost since their first game of the year, but has had a few close calls. Both teams have destroyed the cupcakes they've played so that will skew their stats a bit. The good teams have played Northwest close, so I'm going to take the points here.
