That number won't increase this year for Army. The opening line is navy -14 and the program likes Navy by 18 so I am on them early.

I like it. However, I do not like Navy as big favorites generally. But these games haven't been close recently.

I give you that as a rule of thumb but surely you don't think it applies here? Navy and Army both run the basic same offense but Navy runs it better, has arguably the better athletes and has the etter defense. Navy rolls here.

Congrats on your season.. 61% is something that seems unimaginable at the beginning of the season.

On to your comment. I'm not wagering on a Rivalry game if this ilk. I know Navy rules it, but this game has emotions that cant be handicapped. GL to you.

Thanks fr the notice. I was thinking about larger font but didn't wanna appear desperate. It was actually down this season though. Last season I was 66% but I tweaked the program due to one of my factors no longer being available.

Coug's I just came across something I wasn't aware of. Apparrently if Army were to win this game against Navy it knocks UCLA out of the Eagle Bank Bowl and puts Army in. Now I know it is a rivalry game and there is much pride on the line but they are Brothers in Arms of sorts and there is a lot of money at stake for the program by getting into a bowl game so who's to say some Generals aren't getting together and manuevering a secret tatical plan to qualify Army?

I know it sounds like a conspiracy but it may need to be at least considered.

Even though this is a rival game. Navy looks like the one that should win this game easily.

I agree 100% but the potential to get Army into a bowl game can't be overlooked. If Army had no shot and this was the final game then I would go with my initial impression that Navy wins big. With the possibility of an Army bowl game though I'm not so sure.

I mean we have to at least consider the relivance of this factor. Navy is set, nothing changes for them as far as where they are going for their bowl game. All that is on the line here is pride for them.

There is no question which is the better team. If you look in my original post I agreed. I am not trying to change anyones mind and am not sure I have changed mine. I was merely pointing out something that goes BEYOND which team is better. Also something that is BIGGER than just this game.

I think a lot depends on the mentality of the teams. Some inside info would go a long way in determining if this is a good play. As of right now, it looks like a no play or a small wager. I mean, you have a point there Wal...let's not forget the loss in Hawaii and the extreme travel Navy has been through in the last week or so.
