I am leaning Ohio here. The Chips are an awesome team at home, but I think Ohio is a good enough team that can keep this game close.
Thoughts?

Does seem like an awful lot of points. Ohio has a decent offense as well. Lean to Ohio. CMU wins though, just not sure Ohio can't tough it out for 4 quarters.

Yeah, I did not expect them to stomp on Temple like that at home...

I like CM also. The OVER is always good in MAC games.

For some reason I don't believe the injury status on Theo Scott or Brazell will be clear until right before game-time.
Frank Solich has had this defense overachieving for a while now, and their defensive passing efficiency is top-20 this season (weighted for level of competition as well) with about 20 picks I believe.
Last season this matchup was very close.
No play, until I can know if Scott is good to go.
"Insiders" will probably push the line to 11 or even 10.5 if they are indeed healthy.

FYI - This is at Ford Field in Detroit, not at CMU. Still in MI, but not a home game for CMU.

Really though it is a home game for the, Like flipping the script and playing the game at Browns stadium...basically a home game. CMU QB will want to put on a show for NFL scouts at the game.

The line has actually gone up to 13 now in most Vegas books. The total will end up around 53-55. Central Michigan's only losses came on the road against mediocre teams (Arizona and Boston College). Ohio lost two games at home, to UConn (before the tragedy) and to Kent State. They also lost at Tennessee. I think that Central Michigan has too much offense for Ohio. This also amounts to a home game for them. I just do not see Ohio hanging in with them. If the line drops, Central Michigan is a good play. Whenever you get into these situations, you always have to be on guard against a back door cover.
