From a program standpoint, it's time. The difference between FSU and Florida this year was pathetic. FSU has gotten worse and worse every year since 2000. It's not like the ACC is full of power houses either. The stadium was half empty for the majority of the games. They can't afford to keep going like that.

About 10 years too late. He was obviously just around to pad his win stats and he couldn't even do that well. Take Paterno with you.

****ing ends in ing not ind....you idiot........the thing is his A.D. should have kept this in-house and not go public. Like it or not FSU tradition was established under Bowden so he gets the credit.

remember before (i'm a old fu@k) he was the florida state coach the pointspread on fla st games was 20 to 30 points and they were getting not giving. had a great career and wish him the best in retirement. outlasted both his boys in coaching.

He was a hotshot coordinator at LSU. When they canned Bowden's son, Fisher probably could have gone somewhere else to be a head coach. To make up for what basically equates to a lateral move, they lured him with the offer of being the head coach in waiting once Bowden left. They are holding true to their word.
