this week, I'm going ALL IN on...
    this 10 pt tease play:

    ( bama +14.5 / Neb +24.5 / Zona +17 )

really? this looks too good to be true.

I think florida will win this, but it should be a hard-fought-clock-control kind of game, so 14 is HUGE cushion.

Nebraska's D as home will keep them within 25 points.

USC has had trouble covering spreads a year. Honestly, i feel Arizona has a chance outright here. +17 is a good, good bet.

I may make a few other bets, but i'm seriously contemplating a year end finale with an ALL IN push on this teaser.

I had a teaser a few weeks ago similar to this:
    ( osu v iowa +26.5 / usc v Stanford +20 / And FL v South Car +27.5 )
same situation, 3 good teams against 3 good teams, but you get a HUGE cushion. All dogs covered easily, and i was instantly remorseful i didnt go BIGGER. I'm not making that mistake here.

    ALL IN, I promise.

    who else likes $$$$$$$$ ??

The last wager that loked "too good to be true" was Ga. Tech -7. It lost. If things look too good to be true, they probably are. The fact is that Texas could easily blow Nebraska out. Florida is capable of putting up points, especially if Alabama falls behind and has to start throwing the ball. USC easily covered against UCLA last week. I woud be careful going "all in" unless yo ujust do not have much left, which sounds like the case here. Just use caution.

Hey BBD - hope you got the points I promised.

Sorry, I don't like the 10-pt teaser. Florida could easily win by more than 2 touchdowns, USC could crush Arizona and Texas could kill Nebraska. I don't think the pay-off on a 10-pt teaser is worth making. You'd be better off making a 3-team parlay bet that pays 6 to 1. (I've gambled for many, many years and think the only "teaser" bet that's worthwhile is a 2-game/6 pt. teaser - anything more than that is fool's gold). I wish you the best of luck though.

As for this weekend, I love love love Georgia Tech -1 over Clemson and like Cincy +1 over Pitt (now that would make a nice 2-game teaser).

thanks, guru. I'm relooking at this.

I really do not think that USC will beat arizona by more than a score. USC has stuggled with teams on Arizona's level this year and has blown out one of any high caliber. its not the usc team of the last few years. Arizona may actually win this one.

Texas worries me though. A & M played a hell of game on offense to stay with them, nebraska will not be able to do so. their D is solid though, 25 still sounds high.

And Bigdaddy makes a good point about Florida getting up and rolling, but i dont think that will happen.

Perhaps teasing cincy to +11 is a good call.

Concering the 6 point teaser, I genrally dont like teasing across zero. I prefer to tease Arizona to +17 for example, as you cross more key numbers (10, 13, 14, 16). but BOL if you decide to play it.

Again, thanks for the input, fellas.

Last wed - sat really hurt the bankroll...I'm hoping to finish strong.

Quick question, why not take Texas at -4.5 in your teaser?

quick answer: because i believe there is a chance that they lose outright. Not a very big chance, but a chance. I'm more worried about that than neb losing by 25. teasing those 9-14 favs down to under a score looks real attractive, but the fact is that you dont eliminate the risk. upsets happen, especially in College football. In high profile games, the underdog getting just crushed is more unlikely than the fav losing, IMO.

BOL Dank! I haven't studied this week's games yet. IMO don't bet too huge. I've made that mistake...
