Rice should be a Div-II team.
Losing 66-0 with 12mins left in the 3rd qtr.

What shit they are. If Houston score 90-100 this will be the most embarrassing lost I've ever witnessed.

UTEP has home field advantage for some reason.

Negative- They went to back 2 back bowls last 2 seasons and they were very good last year.

I wish I would have played Houston. They won for me once earlier this year, but I had other games on the card today. I don't think Rice should be a div II school yet....

You guys would all fail the LSAT (put intended)!

You over look the fact that UH is really that damn good, and Keenum is da shit!

The game was awesome, the crowd was amazing - we finally got 2 home games sold out in one season !!! UH is going to stay in the BCS ranking for years to come!

                      GO COOGS!

I disagree, they had a quarterback over the past few seasons,I cant remember his name but he really moved the offense.

They'll never be a jugernaut but not everyone is Texas or Florida

I also remember hearing they have a very small student population and therefore a limited number of quality players

True, Rice only has about 3,000 students but that should not limit the football player pool... TCU only has about 6,000.

If they are willing to operate at a deficit to keep their 1-A status, let them.

Chase Clement, Rice. Clement had some injury problems early in his career, so his career numbers are a little shy of some of the other top dogs. He still threw for 9,785 yards 99 TDs and 34 interceptions. He completed 60 percent of his passes for a passer rating of 137.9.He also rushed for 25 touchdowns and was a terrific runner. Twice he led the Owls to bowl games, including a monster win over Western Michigan in the Texas Bowl, the Owls first bowl win in 50 years. He also went through three coaching changes, including the awkward, one-year screw job by Todd Graham.
His senior season was outstanding. He completed 66.5 percent of his passes for for 4,119 yards, 44 touchdowns and just 7 picks for a paser rating of 163.9. He also rushed for 693 yards and 12 touchdowns.
As a runner, passer, and leader, Clement was terrific. If he had been healthy his entire career, there is no telling what kind of numbers he would have put up.
