S.Carolina's defense is going to smother, beat up, and stomp Clemson's "high scoring" offense. Clemson has not played a team with this type of speed on defense since they played TCU @ home. Clemson lost that game too.

Clemson has clinched the ACC title game..while this is S.Carolina's last game of the year..and their last chance to beat an AP Top 15 team and line themselves up for a decent bowl game.
**Plus** The "Ole Ball Coach" has had two weeks to prepare for this game. They will be fresh and ready to play!

Yes..I agree bout the Fla/Georgia games.

I think GT is a very solid team. But if they were playing in the SEC, with that schedule, they would probably be in the middle of the pack..

seems like a good letdown spot for clemson after the "big win" over virginia last week where fans rushed the field and the coached got the bath. now they go on the road and face an SEC defense that had a bye week to prepare. you can also argue that this game doesn't mean too much to clemson since they will be looking ahead to the ACC title game.

Already on it, good match up for SC. Their defense should be able to take away some of the strengths of the Clemson offense after two weeks of prep, and Clemson's defense is f***ing horrible. South Carolina's offense should be able to move the ball consistently against this team!

putting money on Garcia is asking for trouble
SC defense could keep the score close but I wouldnt count on Garcia making the plays to make the difference

Mac4Lyfe..I agree about Garcia being a liability..but..understand that the defenses he has been facing are 2x faster, stronger, and better coached than this Clemson defense. The Clemson's defense struggled in a weak ACC to stop teams from scoring. I'm betting that S.Carolina's offense (and defense) score over 30 pts..and no frikn way Clemson scores 30 on this defense..no frikn way!

People need to realiz how weak the ACC is this year. NO one plays D, and all are offensive oriented teams. Most of the teams that made it to the Top 15 in the nation have major flaws(VT, Miami). USC has seen better competition throughout the year, and their offense should be productive against Clemson.

I know top to bottom the ACC isn't strong, but the athletes are as good as any conference in the nation. USC struggled with Vandy, and got beat up by tenn and ark, two teams that i put on level (not better than) the likes of clemson, VT, miami. Dont put too much into this ACC vs SEC thing. its still team vs team, and clemson is playing strong, explosive football.

coaching nod goes to USC, SOS probably goes to USC. Still, I believe clemson is the better the team and i think they win by 7 on sat.

For the SEC vs ACC record: GT stomps on GA sat. its going to get ugly. GT by 20.

USC defensive speed advantage is huge. The offensive line is killing Clemson as well. As long as Garcia doesn't blow it here, this will be an easy cover for USC. USC last in the SEC in rushing but their pounding the Tiggers.
