what a shootout that this one has turned out to be tonight. If there was not so much time left I would say it is over. There is an awful lot of time left still. A&M is playing tough tonight.

          What a game!

Team is extremely young, a majority of them will get at least 2 more games vs Texas. Jerrod will maybe finally get some recognition as one of the best QBs in college football.

I can't believe A&M scored so many points. Should have taken the over.

UT's defense and special teams were exposed tonight. Bet accordingly down the line

IF it works out the way it looks , Fl or Bama will beat Texas and cover the spread

Texas really isnt as good as the Longhorn teams of prior years. They offense is only as good as Colt plays and their defense is good, but has holes which was exposed - but of course I couldnt say that (before tonight) without sounding incredibly biased. With that said, I dont think very highly of Alabama and Florida either (compared to other championship contenders of the past 3 years). They all have flaws. Texas could beat Alabama, but I dont think they can beat Florida - one of the reasons other than the fact they've won 15+ in a row is because Urban Meyer doesnt lose when you give him 2 weeks of preparation.. in the National Championship, he'd get 5 weeks or so.

^^^ UF has only one problem... Red zone efficiency. They have moved the ball against every team they've played and have nearly doubled up total yards on everyone but they have killed themselves with turnovers in the red zone. Many that led to points for the opposition. They were about to blow Tenn out of the building but Tebow fumbled and turned what should have been a 20+ win into a 10 point win. Tebow throws 2 pick 6's both of which should have been scores for UF that turned into 28 point swings and against Arky they had 5 turnovers but still won the game. The problem with the red zone IMO is the poor playcalling. This can be corrected.

What can't be over looked is that UF's defense is better than last year and will shut down Bama, FSU, UT, etc. They have given up 6 TD's all year long. Just because the offense isn't putting up Playstation numbers don't disregard defense. Defense wins titles and I think Urban Meyer learned something in last years MNC game against OU. He learned how to manage the game better. There's a high risk to reward when you go for the big plays on offense. He seems to be more methodical in breaking teams down and limiting possessions. That's how you beat teams even when you turn the ball over 5 times.

Bama's flaw is McElroy IMO. I'm not sure he can beat you. A good team is going to force him to make plays. UT has several flaws, defense is the biggest problem. Special teams is another area. The offense is very predictable as well with a poor running game. OU shut UT down offensively and I think you will see more of the same against a good defense. Nebraska has a great chance next week although it's offense is bad.

I am a realist and I'm very unbiased. UF is still the team to beat. You can take that to the bank.
