With all the focus on TCU and their prefect season, not too many people have paid attention to the other Mountain West teams, especially the Falcons, who gave TCU all they could handle in a 20-17 loss back on October 10. Air Force has lost four games, but two have been by a TD and two by 3 points, so they have to be given a chance for the upset here. Over their last three games - all wins - they've been blistering the opposition, to the tune of a combined score of 114-30. The defense has always been there for Air Force, and lately, the offense is really in high gear.
The Cougars have had a memorable season, complete with ups and downs, but they have a unique trap game here as they come in at 8-2, with no chance to catch TCU and Utah coming to town next week. Air Force, playing their final regular season game, is likely to surprise them.
Defensively the Cougars have been inconsistent, giving up 54 points to Florida State while shutting down Wyoming and Tulane for a total of 3. Perhaps the most important stat this week is their run defense, as they’re limiting foes to 103.5 ypg. They haven’t faced an attack like Air Force’s though, and it will be interesting to see whether they can contain it.
The Falcons defense is up and coming, and had a superb outing last week. They held an inferior UNLV squad to 282 total yards and 17 points. Noone has been able to score more than the 23 that Utah put on them in week 8. This unit benefits greatly from the successful running game of the offense, and the numbers speak for themselves. They are second to none in passing defense, allowing a mere 127.9 ypg, ranked 7th nationally in total defense with 265.4 ypg and good for 9th in scoring at 13.3 ppg.

The Raiders seem to have some issues at quarterback and that should play right into the hands of Oklahoma. Look for the Sooners to control the clock with their ground attack, while their defense will do enough to keep TTU from moving the ball consistently.
Oklahoma is 6-0 ATS at home off road game and will be ready for the Red Raiders this week! Unbeaten Texas Tech has lost 11 of its last 15 against the Sooners and come up short in 10 of 15 ATS. Seven of the past nine contests have been decided by 10+ points. Oklahoma has cashed nine straight at home as favorites of less than double digits. The Sooners are also 20-12 ATS in their last 32 home finales. The Sooners get revenge for last year!
